From €89 per vehicle

Join us on a journey to the places in Madinah most visitors never see.

Ziyarah

Walk In The Footsteps Of The Seerah

A private morning among Madinah's most treasured sites: Masjid Quba, Mount Uhud and Archers' Hill, Masjid al-Qiblatain and the Seven Mosques. Your driver collects you from your hotel, waits at every stop and never cuts the route short.

From €89 per vehicle

Quba Mosque, the first mosque in Islam

The first mosque built in Islam, founded by the Prophet (peace be upon him) as he arrived from Makkah, even before al-Masjid an-Nabawi.

Heritage & Date Farms

Among The Palms Of The Blessed City

Leave the city bustle for the orchards of Quba, where date palms and the wells that water them have been tended for centuries. Walk among the palms, see where Madinah's famous Ajwa dates are grown, visit the heritage exhibits and return at your own pace.

From €79 per vehicle

Looking up through date palms in Madinah

Madinah sits in a basin between old lava fields. The volcanic soil and underground water are why palms thrive here in the desert.

Private Chauffeur

The Quieter Corners Of The City

Four, eight or twelve hours to spend as you like. The Seven Mosques on the slope at the trench, the old wells among the Quba orchards, the dates market, or Jabal Uhud at sunset for the view over the city. Your driver waits at every stop.

From €99 per vehicle

A stone mosque on the slope at the Seven Mosques, site of the Battle of the Trench

The trench that saved Madinah was Salman al-Farsi's idea, a Persian defence the Arabs had never seen before.

Arches and a minaret in the inner courtyard of the Prophet's Mosque

Parts of this roof move. 27 domes roll back on rails in silence, opening the prayer hall to the sky.

Licensed Drivers, Insured Cars, Named In Advance

Every journey is fulfilled by a Saudi transport company holding a commercial registration. The vehicle carries your group only, never a shared seat, and your driver's name, phone number and number plate reach you on WhatsApp before pickup.

Add A Guide Who Speaks Your Language

A guide who knows the seerah behind each site, walks it with you and answers the questions you actually have, in the language your family speaks at home. Ask for one in the special requests box when you book and we arrange a guide who speaks it.

Not sure we cover your language? Ask at support@seemadinah.com before you book.

The Prophet's Mosque illuminated at twilight

The Prophet's Mosque is often said to be the first place in Arabia lit by electricity, switched on under the Ottomans in 1909.

How it works

Booked In Minutes, Arranged To The Last Detail

  1. 01

    Choose your journey

A Ziyarah tour, the date farms, or a chauffeur by the hour, and the vehicle size for your group.

  2. 02

    Set your pickup

Pick the date, the time in Madinah and the hotel we should collect you from. Special requests, such as a child seat or a wheelchair, go in the same form.

  3. 03

    Pay securely

Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, protected by 3D Secure. The price is per vehicle, not per person, and it is the whole price.

Questions

Everything You Need To Know

Something else on your mind? Write to support@seemadinah.com.

How will I receive my booking confirmation?

On the WhatsApp number you enter at checkout, within minutes of paying. Your driver's name, phone number and number plate follow on WhatsApp once a licensed partner has been assigned, before your pickup.

What if the driver is late or does not come?

Message us on WhatsApp and we contact the partner straight away. If your driver is more than 45 minutes late, we treat it as a no-show and refund the booking in full. Where we can, we send another car as well.

Is the price really final?

Yes. The price you see is per vehicle for your whole group and includes the driver, fuel, waiting time at every stop and all taxes. There is no surcharge for Ramadan or peak dates once you have booked, and nothing to pay the driver. Tipping is entirely optional.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before your pickup time from the Manage booking page, and the refund is returned automatically to the card you paid with. Inside 72 hours, message us on WhatsApp and we will do what we can.

Is the driver a tour guide?

No. You are booking a private vehicle with a driver who takes you to each stop and waits for you. Drivers are not licensed tour guides and we do not present them as one. Each stop on our tours has short English notes on this site so you know what you are visiting.

Can I have a guide who speaks my language?

Yes, as a paid add-on alongside your journey. Ask for one in the special requests box when you book, or write to support@seemadinah.com with the language you need, and we arrange a guide who speaks it. Every stop on our tours also has short English notes on this site.

Is this suitable for women travelling alone or in a women-only group?

Yes. Every booking is a private vehicle for your group only, never shared. You know your driver's name, phone number and number plate before you leave the hotel, and our WhatsApp support stays with you throughout the journey.

We are travelling with elderly parents. What should we choose?

A Family MPV or Executive SUV is easier to step into than a sedan, and a folding wheelchair fits in every vehicle class. The driver collects you from the hotel lobby and waits at each stop, so parents can rest in the air-conditioned car whenever they need to. Mention any assistance needed in the special requests box.

Can you provide a child seat?

Ask for one in the special requests box when you book and we confirm availability with the partner on WhatsApp. Children count as passengers for the vehicle capacity.

What is the best time to start?

Roads around the Haram are congested for around 30 to 45 minutes before and after each prayer, so a pickup at prayer time can cost you an hour in traffic. Mid-morning, once the Fajr crowds have cleared, and the hours after Asr are the smoothest starts. On Fridays plan around Jumu'ah, and in Ramadan expect heavier evenings.

Can we pray at the stops?

Yes. Most stops on the Ziyarah tour are mosques, and your driver waits while you pray. The tour is yours for the full duration, so no stop is skipped to make up time.

What time zone are pickup times in?

All pickup dates and times are Madinah local time (UTC+3), whatever currency you pay in.

How far in advance do I need to book?

At least 24 hours before pickup, so we can assign a licensed partner and driver. For Ramadan, the last ten nights and the Hajj season, book as early as you can: prices stay the same but vehicles fill up.

Which vehicle should I choose?

The Standard Sedan seats up to 3 passengers, the Executive SUV and Family MPV up to 6, and the Group Minivan up to 11. Choose a larger vehicle if you have luggage or wheelchairs. You receive the class you booked, or better, and every car is air-conditioned.

Is the price per person?

No. Prices are per vehicle for your whole group, including the driver and fuel.

What is TGA?

The Transport General Authority, the Saudi regulator for commercial transport. Every SeeMadinah partner holds a commercial registration and TGA operating cards for its vehicles, which is what separates a licensed, insured car from a taxi hailed at the roadside.
